Work closely with the firm’s founder in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, contributing to the shaping and operation of a new company.
We are especially interested in hiring students who are considering starting their own search fund.
Internship details:
Duration: 20 hours per week, January 16 – May 3
Location: Open to both remote and local (NYC) candidates

You can lead the effort in purchasing a company worth as much as $30 million. Your work will shape how we operate, what we look for in an acquisition, and the work we do to transform the acquired business.
– Benefit from mentorship and structured learning about private equity and financial analysis.
Structured sessions on private equity, the search fund model, industry and financial analysis, and career development will be provided. We approach the internship as an apprentice-type / mentorship program, working together to learn and build the firm.

Successful interns will receive an automatic offer for a competitive summer internship. Recommendation letters and introductions to contacts in consulting, banking, startups, private equity, healthcare and other industries will be provided.
Responsibilities:
As a team lead, you’ll lead one of the following focus areas, with a rotating group of interns:
Focus Area 1: Industry Research and Perspective Development
- Conduct in-depth industry research to gain insights into market trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive perspective to inform strategic decision-making and planning.
Focus Area 2: Target Identification
- Utilize market analysis and outreach efforts to identify and compile a refined list of target companies.
- Align target selection with the company’s strategic objectives for meaningful collaboration.
Focus Area 3: Deal Analysis and Modelling
- Evaluate identified companies through detailed financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Model potential returns and value creation opportunities to understand deal viability.
- Gain practical experience in drafting marketing materials, managing broker relationships, and applying acquired skills.
You will lead weekly team meetings and 1:1 check-ins with team members.
Qualifications:
- Investing, banking or consulting experience preferred but not required
- Eagerness to make a meaningful impact
- Self-starter attitude
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a group
- Attention to detail
- Desire to learn
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
